Personal training for people in their 40s and 50s
There’s a lot of noise out there about getting fit. The wellness industry is huge, confusing, and strange. But in your 40s and 50s, fitness changes, our needs change and the way we need to train changes.
I offer personal training in Bristol for people in their 40s and 50s who want to feel stronger, move better, and stay well — without pressure, without judgement.
With over 20 years of experience, I combine technical instruction, quality strength training with a grounded, psychological understanding of what it really takes to build long-term health — not just physically, but emotionally and mentally too.
You’ve probably heard strength training is good. It’s all the trend at the moment. But there is some truth in this trend. When done well, strength training can help
Boost your metabolism
Protect your joints
Improve your balance
Build bone density
Maintain your energy levels
These are the essentials. The behind-the-scenes superpowers that keep you feeling capable, agile, and engaged — in your work, in your relationships, and in your own body.
Strength training is one of the most powerful forms of self-care there is. And it becomes even more important as we grow older and wiser.
It can feel intimidating to start with with a personal trainer. I want to assure you there is no judgment, no pushing (unless you ask for it!) and no shortcuts! Just processional advise, good care, and clear instruction.
We can meet at your home in Clifton, Redland or other surrounding areas. Or head to one of the two studios where I have access in St. George’s or Gloucester road.
In our sessions, you’ll train at a pace that works for you. You’ll learn techniques that respect where your body is now — while building strength and confidence for the years ahead.
If you’re in Bristol and ready to feel strong in your 40s, 50s and beyond — I’m here.
